ABOUT THE ARTIST
Federica Corbelli, an Italian photographer and system engineer from Genoa, combines the precision of the IT world with artistic sensitivity. With a solid career in the tech sector, she has also cultivated a deep passion for photography, which began in the 1990s with analog film and was refined through black-and-white development and printing in the darkroom. During those same years, she earned a diploma in Photo and Video Post-Production Techniques, collaborating with professional photographers on architectural and reportage projects. The shift to the digital era was a natural evolution for her, embraced without abandoning the technical rigor and visual sensitivity developed through analog photography. Today, her visual language is expressed through mixed techniques, where digital shots blend with creative post-production, inspired by painterly textures, cinematic atmospheres, and dreamlike suggestions. Over time, she has embraced a more instinctive and personal vision, where technique serves emotion. Decoeuphoria is the name of her artistic project—an exploration of the poetic and the decadent. Through a dreamlike sensitivity, her images evoke suspended atmospheres, turning every trace into a silent narrative and inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in hidden worlds.
